Is it possible to get cheaper gas? Sure it it, you just have to know how. Here is a helpful guide to show you how. - Use a gas rebate card when ever you purchase gas.
- Only use your gas rebate card for gas. This will make it easier for you to pay it off every billing cycle. If you do not pay off your bill every cycle, getting cheap gas will fail because now you have to pay interest on your charges.
- These gas rebate cards give you around 5% cash back for gas purchases. (Some higher if you shop at certain stations!)

- Keeping your car maintained can improve your MPG.
- Tire pressure is probably the #1 issue that can really impact your cars MPG. Look in your cars owners manual, or on your tires for the recommended tire pressure and check it every 3 months / 3,000 miles. (Same as an oil change!)
- Tune up your car. If you have not had a tune up on your car it may be time. Its a simple procedure that basically gives your car that extra spark (no really)
- Check your air filter. Air filters get dirty and clogged. Depending on where you live and your driving conditions you may need to replace yours more often then you think. A clogged air filter is like trying to run a race breathing through your nose when your sick!
- Change your driving habits.
- When the speed limit is 65, do you find yourself driving 80! Not only is this a costly risk for a speeding ticket, it also dramatically effects your cars MPG. Slow Down!
- Not just on the highway either, slow down in the city. Why rush to the next red light?
- Combine your traveling trips in to one big trip. Goes to pick up some milk? Planning to go get some tools for that home project this afternoon? Make it one trip!
